PAWN Robinhood Chain · 4663

There is always a bid,
and it only rises.

The floor ETH per 1,000,000 PAWN, paid by THE COUNTER
Reading the chain…

A published floor that only moves one way. Every trade pays into a contract nobody owns. Hand it your PAWN and it hands you back your share of what is in there.

What this is

Your tokens burn. A little of your exit stays behind. So the floor is higher after you leave than it was before you did, for everybody who did not.

Nobody is paid for holding. There is no distribution, no rate and no schedule. The pot just gets deeper, and the pot is the floor.

The counter

The pot, shown as arithmetic.

THE COUNTER has no owner, no admin, no pause and no upgrade path. It has one way out and this is the whole of it.

Repeat any figure on this page yourself. Nothing here is computed on a server and nothing is cached; every number is an eth_call made by your own browser.

The ratchet

Why it cannot fall.

Redeem q tokens and you take the floor less a 4% toll. Your tokens go to the dead address. The pot shrinks. The supply shrinks by more.

t is the toll, q is what you redeemed, S is what was circulating. The right-hand side is never below one, so the floor is never below what it was. The payout rounds down, so in practice it lands slightly above.

Three ways in, one way out, and the way out lifts it too.

The floor becomes

You can also call harvest(). Anyone can. It pulls whatever pons has swept into the fee escrow and puts it in the pot. It cannot do anything else, which is why it needs no permission.

Where it fills from

5.70% of every trade, both directions.

Every buy and every sell of PAWN on pons pays a fee in native ETH.

The stream was pointed at THE COUNTER in the same transaction that minted PAWN, so it never belonged to a person. There was no block in which a wallet could have claimed it.

pons runs the sweep that moves fees into the escrow, so what is claimable lags what has been earned. That timing is theirs, not ours.

What this is not

The short list of things nobody is claiming.

  • Not yieldYou are not paid for holding. There is no distribution, no dividend, no APR and no rate.
  • Not a pegThe floor is a bid, not a price. PAWN can trade below it. If it does, redeeming is profitable and the floor rises faster.
  • Not a promiseIf nothing trades, nothing fills the pot and the floor stays at zero. It starts at zero, and this page says zero until it isn't.
  • Not auditedThe tests are public and so is the source. That is not the same thing as an audit and it is not going to be called one.
  • Not a companyNo team allocation, no treasury, no multisig, no governance. There is nothing to govern.
